Our Architects

Katherine Eskovitz  Author, Founder & CEO

Katherine is an award-winning children’s author, parenting expert, and Founder of little BLUEPRINT. A graduate of Yale Law School and Cornell University, Katherine practiced law for seventeen years as a federal prosecutor and partner in a national law firm before turning her courtroom skills, and experience as a former speechwriter, to writing for a new audience: children. What started as a hobby over a decade ago, researching and writing personalized books to address new experiences and transitions for her children, quickly turned into a full-time endeavor, writing for friends and family all over the country . . . the requests were insatiable. Thus, little BLUEPRINT was officially born in January 2010, and years of research on child development and brain science, collaboration with experts, and writing began. Katherine speaks as an educator and specialist on plan-based learning to parents and children across the country. She is a frequent contributor to Psychology Today, Huffington Post, and other national publications. A native New Yorker, Katherine lives in Santa Monica, California with her husband and three young children.
